the causes
You might be wondering…
Which causes does the joy resistance network support?
Our answer? All of them! What is that too much?
In our globalized, digital and rapidly devolving world, there are so many causes that deserve our attention, and so many issues that are deeply intertwined with one another. It was clear from the start, we can’t choose just one cause to care about.

● Health & Safety
Health Center
Our fully-equipped health center sits right at the heart of camp, staffed 24/7 by warm, knowledgeable registered nurses. From bug bites to the common cold, they’re here to keep campers feeling their best. We safely store and dispense all camper medications, and for anything beyond routine care, a hospital is just a short drive away.
● Free Time
Activities
Life at Camp Bennie doesn’t stop when class is over. Afternoons might mean paddling across the lake in a kayak, hiking wooded trails, or joining a game of soccer on the field. Evenings bring campfires under the stars, movie nights, and the kind of easy laughter that comes with being outdoors together. These moments balance the creative work in the studios, giving campers a full summer of adventure, connection, and play.
